Hi, I'm Fernando Cidoncha!

Born in Spain, I studied at the University of Navarra and the University of Granada before moving to Florence to further my artistic training. My passion lies in exploring the human form through figurative and representational art, capturing movement, connection, and emotion in every piece.

My artistic research is rooted in an introspective journey, where sleep, meditation, and silence become tools for exploring the soul and the nuances of identity. Themes such as solitude, connection, and inner reflection are deeply intertwined with personal experiences, including my recent journey into fatherhood, shaping works that are rich in symbolism and spirituality. I work with a figurative language that draws from the tradition of sacred art while remaining engaged with contemporary movements. My aim is to create a bridge between the visible and the invisible, revealing a dialogue between my inner world and a broader sense of belonging to humanity.

I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit my work internationally, in venues such as Arcadia Contemporary (New York, USA), Cromwell Place (London, UK), Museo dell’Opera del Duomo (Florence, Italy), and Singulart (Paris, France).

See you there! :)
